Tyreek Moore
Tyreek Moore has over 10 years of programming experience. He has worked in both the federal and private sectors. He specializes in various aspects of Business Process Management and Workflow Development with a concentration in Lotus Notes and Domino.
Mr. Moore earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Boston University. Upon graduation, he immediately began working with IBM Lotus as a consultant. During his time there he became a Principle Certified Lotus professional in application development and systems administration.
Mr. Moore worked for many Government clients such as the Department of Transportation and many commercial companies including General Dynamics. There he was asked to transform the way they did business from paper based to electronic. This change in paradigm was very challenging, yet rewarding for the client. He had the opportunity to communicate with many different departments and help each evolve the way they do business to become more productive and efficient. Thousands of users benefited from his technical expertise and vision.
Steven Nichols
Steve Nichols has over 10 years of computer networking experience. Graduating from Virginia Tech with a major in Management Information Systems, he began his career working for a help desk with the United States Chamber of Commerce. After gaining valuable experience on the help desk, Mr. Nichols was quickly promoted to a Network Systems Administrator for Cap Gemini. There he managed a network of 3500 users over 32 locations. During this time, he was certified as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). Mr. Nichols was then promoted to a Network Systems Engineer for Signalcorp. As a network engineer, he was responsible for designing and upgrading the current LAN and WAN infrastructure and developing and implementing a security policy for the entire organization. During his time here, he managed Signalcorp’s 70 servers, upgraded their security architecture, and revamped connectivity between all their remote offices.
At Veridian Corp, Mr. Nichols had additional responsibilities of router management, firewall implementation, active directory migration, and packet shaping bandwidth management for an organization of 7500 users. During this role, he was certified as a Cisco Certified Security Professional, a Certified Ethical Hacker, and maintained his MCSE. When General Dynamics acquired Veridian Corp, Mr. Nichols was promoted to a Security Network Engineer. It was clear to General Dynamics that Steve should be responsible for all network security operations, with a focus on intrusion detection and prevention. He designed and implemented a robust multi-layered, multi-platform intrusion prevention and security architecture that integrated several different technologies from vendors such as Cisco, ISS, Juniper, RSA, and Checkpoint.
